Recently I went with a group of 8 men from Global Workforce to help remodel the Bible Baptist Church in Debrecen, Hungary. The Church is a small congregation pastored by Zsolt Kovacs. They are a wonderful group of Christians that are dedicated to winning souls and teaching the people to carry out the Great Commission.

Their Church building was in need of repair. The flooring in the sanctuary needed to be changed. The outside of the building needed to be repaired and painted. The storage building behind the Church needed an attic to be added to provide more storage. There were other odds and ends that needed attention. The eight of us went over determined to get the job done. I told the men if they would do the work, I would do all the cooking. They worked hard and long and completed all of the work that we came to do.

Even though we do not speak the same language, we had great fellowship together because we are in the same family. The Church was very excited and grateful to get the remodeling done. Even the neighbors took noticed that the Church building was getting a facelift.

We had great Church services while we were there, several visitors came and one lady was saved and followed the Lord in baptism after we left.

When the work was finished we went to the capital city of Budapest to spend one day sightseeing before we left the country. The Global Workforce is a great bunch of guys who are dedicated to helping missionaries in their building and remodeling needs.

If you would be interested in going on a construction mission trip with Global Workforce, please contact me about upcoming opportunities of service.
