Lighthouse Christian Academy

The Mississippi Lighthouse girls attend Lighthouse Christian Academy in which Rev. and Mrs. Joseph Platt are teachers. Rev. and Mrs. Platt came to the Lighthouse in April 1986. They have a life time of teaching in Christian schools and pastoring. Brother Joe and his wife Sara are dedicated to serving the Lord here at the Lighthouse and have been a great help to many of the children and their academics. They also work diligently with the children in teaching them how to sing in the "Lighthouse Girl's Choir" which travels around the country to many Churches. The Platt's have three children and seven grandchildren.

The current school building, constructed in 1989, also serves as the dining hall and kitchen on the lower level. However, the Academy will soon be housed in Faith Gym, the new multi-purpose building which is currently under construction.
